Deputy Chairman of RD Vazha Panchulidze inspected road safety improvements progressing on Igoeti-Gori section.

Small scale road safety improvements considered by the World Bank project are underway along E-60 Highway (Igoeti-Gori section).

Access roads to houses located adjacent to the highway would be upgraded; bus stops and acceleration-deceleration lanes would be arranged according to the design. Also arrangement of viaducts and culverts is planned.

World Bank financed project is implemented by “Roads Construction Administration No1” Ltd and the cost amounts to GEL 1.805 thousand.

Works commenced in April 2014 and would be completed in September.
