Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia, David Shavliashvili, First Deputy Chairman Nugzar Gasviani along with the  Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Elguja Khokrishvili  and Deputy Minister, George Amashukeli and Head of the Infrastructure Development Department of the Ministry, Avtandil Sudadze visited Dariali gorge and surveyed the situation on-site. 

Supervision Service of RD is also mobilized on site.

Raging torrent coming from Devdorki ravine, located at km134 of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road (Larsi gorge), resulted in blocking of the river Tergi and carriageway.

Currently, traffic is restricted on respective section for all mode of transport.   

Teams of emergency service, patrol police and ambulance are mobilized on place.  Emergency brigades are also sent from Tbilisi.

Population and passengers are already evacuated from the check point and adjacent territory. All necessary emergency measures are taken at this stage. Information on victims is not verified by that time.
