Rehabilitation of km1-km9 of Tianeti-Zaridzeebi section of Tianeti-Zaridzeebi-Zhinvali road is completed.

Rehabilitation of Tianeti-Zaridzeebi sections commenced in September of the previous years. 3 bridges were rehabilitated under the rehabilitation of respective section. Also, reinforced-concrete and corrugated culverts, drainage network, steel curvilinear posts and sign posts, sidewalks, entrances to private yards, junctions to local roads and road signs were arranged.

Pavement of Tianeti-Zaridzeebi secondary road was rehabilitated by application of modified asphalt-concrete mixture improved with additives. During rehabilitation process was utilized new technology, namely, asphalt-concrete layers were strengthened with basalt fibber mesh in order to increase binding between upper asphalt layers.  

Currently cleaning of the road, horizontal marking and installation of safety road signs are ongoing.
