Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia George Amashukeli, Chairman of RD Davit Shavliashvili and his Deputies Ioseb Kadagishvili and Vazha Panchulidze inspected works progressing at Kobuleti Bypass Road (LOT II). Also, meeting was held with representatives of contractor organization, wherein construction schedule was reviewed in details.

Project envisages arrangement of 18,9 km asphalt-concrete pavement at km12+400-km31+259 section  of Kobuleti bypass road; also construction of 16 bridges, among them 7 overpasses; 2 tunnels, 64 underpasses and culverts. 

Currently, arrangement of road bed is ongoing at respective section; at the same time, construction of  reinforced-concrete piles, beams, crossbars and cast-in-place concrete slabs is progressing at overpasses;

Construction works are implemented by contractor organization “"SINOHYDRO”.

Project budget is GEL 209,852,079.67. Donor organization is Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Chairman of RD Davit Shavliashvili noted that quality of performed works shall be strictly controlled and monitoring would be conducted permanently.
