Ioseb Kadagishvili, Deputy Chairman of Roads Department, filed a suit against Givi Targamadze and Irma Nadirashvili at Tbilisi City Court. 

According to the statement of Merab Chikaidze, lawyer of Ioseb Kadagishvili, plaintiff Ioseb Kadagishvili requires from defendant Givi (Giorgi) Targamadze and Irma Nadirashvili to deny publicly though the Court information containing false and essentially incorrect facts. Mr. Kadagishvili also claims to indemnify moral damage and requires from each of them to pay symbolically one GEL.

“We are sure that the court will receive impartial decision that will bind Givi Targamadze and Irma Nadirashvili to deny slanderous statements, as if Ioseb Kadagishvili is the member of criminal tribe and illegally gave priority to specific private company by using position power, through the same means and methods (give briefings and broadcasting)” – declared lawyer of Ioseb Kadagishvili.

We would like to remind you that abusive accusation against Ioseb kadagishvili was made by members of parliamentary minority Givi Targamadze and Irma Nadirashvili on February 5 at briefing dedicated to nepotism in executive government and abuse of authority. 

The same day it was verified that the information spread by the members of the United National Movement (UNM) on relationship between Ioseb kadagishvili and Tamaz Tamazashvili did not correspond to reality. Director of Serpantini LLC (prosecutors accused Kadagishvili of his patronage) stated that he has no special support from the current government.  Moreover, he won more tenders within the recent government and he provided financial support to the United National Movement during elections.
