Review of construction project of Samtredia-Grigoleti road was held at Roads Department.

Upgrading of 52 km highway will be implemented in 4 lots. From here, construction of 11.5 km section is progressing (LOT I) (topographic –geodetic works are near completion), but detailed designs have already started for remaining III lots.  Georgian – Portuguese joint company “CPBA” and "TRANSPROECT" is working on design.

Working session was held between officials of RD and representatives of the company at roads department whereon technical details of the project and dynamics of progress of design works were discussed.   

Design works for the next sections of Samtredia-Grigoleti road will be completed in 2014 and tender for procuring of construction works will be announced within the current year.
