Due to heavy snow and icing, the following restrictions are established on roads by Roads Department:

Movement on Tskhvarichamia-Tianeti (km15-km60) section of Tbilisi-Tianeti road is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Movement on Zahesi-Martkopi (km4-km28) section of Tbilisi bypass road for trailers and semi-trailers is permitted by application of antiskid chains. For other type of vehicles traffic is free.

Movement along Sasadilo-Telavi (km28-km65) section of Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Movement for other types of transport on Vaziani-Shuamta (km32-km56) section is permitted by application of anti-skid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Based on information provided by National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, movement on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for all types of transport due to avalanche hazards.

Movement on Mleta-Gudauri(Posta) section and Kobi-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is permitted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats by application of antiskid chains. Traffic on Mleta-Gudauri(Posta) section for other types of transport is permitted by application of antiskid chains and on Kobi-Larsi section is free.

Movement on Lakhamula-Kala (km102-km182) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic for other types of transport is permitted by application of antiskid chain. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Movement for transport is free at km1-km102 section of mentioned road.

Relevant service units of Roads Department are performing road cleaning works for 24 hours, deicing salt is being spread and equipment is mobilized.
