Due to snow and clear ice, movement on Mleta-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is permitted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats by application of antiskid chains. Traffic for other mode of transport at Mleta-Gudauri(Posta) section and Kobi-Larsi section is free, but movement on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is admissible by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for tandem-drive vehicles.

Along Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section movement is admissible through the tunnels for snow-slide protection. One-way traffic will be applied in tunnels for trailers and semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats;

Traffic movement shall be under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police. Movement is free at other sections of the road.
